About Us
Sam Beswick, Owner of Estes Appliance Service, is carrying on the tradition of his grandfather, Robert (Buck) Estes. Buck originally founded Estes Appliance Service. Sam has re-opened Estes Appliance Service under the same name - with his grandfather's blessing - as a tribute to him. Sam's grandfather began teaching him the appliance repair business when he was only 10. Sam often rode with his grandfather, as he was working, on a regular basis. Sam had a natural mechanical aptitude and a growing understanding of electricity which helped to form his expertise in the appliance repair field. Buck Estes ran Estes Appliance Service for many years and was well known throughout Northern Virginia, particularly in the Arlington area. Estes Appliance Service is still family owned and operated now out of Winchester, Virginia.
Sam was formerly an employee of Betty's Maytag/Betty's Home Appliance Service in Springfield, Virginia, for 21 years. He opened Estes Appliance Service in September of 2015 to continue to serve his longtime customers as well as to welcome new customers. Estes Appliance Service is proud to have an A rating on Angie's List, and highly rated, positive reviews on Yelp, Consumer's Checkbook, Google and over 80+ recommendations on Nextdoor. Our goal is to always offer honest, reliable service at a fair price and to make our customers feel like family. We stand behind the integrity of Estes Appliance Service.
